Limited Capacity seats available

Blackcomb Mountain towers over Whistler Village from the East, sharing the immediate skyline around the Village with Whistler Mountain. While being a destination for both winter and summer skiing and snowboarding, Blackcomb Mountain also is home to some beautiful trails to add some vertical feet to your hikes. Get your "burn" on with back-to-back hikes of hikes up Blackcomb Ascent Trails Little Burn, and Big Burn - ascending about 550 metres (~1800 ft) over the course of 3 kilometres (1.9 miles). Get some great views of the Whistler valley and village from the Mountain before we take the hike trail back down!

Note: The final stretch of the trail, Heart Burn, adds an additional 3 km (1.9 miles) and 608 vertical meters (~2000 feet). Depending on time constraints, we may carry on for some of this trail, or hikers may continue on their own; a gondola is available to download, however this would require an additional pass purchased separately.

Class time devoted to lecture: 5-10 minutes
